Fences For Fido began in 2009 by unchaining dogs and building fences. Over the years, we’ve learned that the barriers families face are often bigger than a fence.

In communities across the Pacific Northwest, we meet families doing their best with what they have – sometimes without access to the basic resources their dogs need to be safe and healthy.

Chaining is rarely a choice; it can be a last resort. That’s where we step in. Through our Circle of Care, we provide free, compassionate support that can include safe fencing, shelter, veterinary care, and supplemental pet food – helping dogs live safer, healthier lives with the families who love them.
