Burning questions? We know you've got 'em. How do families qualify for a fence? How do we hear about dogs in need? What happens behind the scene before the big fence-build day? Well, here's your chance to be part of our inaugural volunteer orientation! Join us for coffee and brief, interactive presentations that give current and future FFF volunteers an overview of our mission, history, policies, credo, volunteer roles...the heart and soul of Fences for Fido. This is a must-do event for any incoming first-time volunteers, but if you're already a volunteer we know you'll be glad you came too. Hope to see you there! Can't make it this time? No problem: there will be more dates ahead.

For post settings and fence builds, you will receive your "Thanks for Volunteering" email after you click to attend. This will have the email address for the coordinator for this event.

SPECIAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Starting March 11, for all Fences For Fido fence builds, masks will be optional in compliance with easing of restrictions of the mask mandate throughout Oregon and Washington.

Continued Safety Guidelines

  • If you have been in contact with any known COVID-19 patients, we ask that you complete the 14 day quarantine before joining a build.
  • If you feel sick or have any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you not attend a build. Please take your temperature before coming to a build to check for fever.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has background information about the virus, steps to prevent illness, and what to do when sick.

You must login to confirm your attendance.
