Buddy in McMinnville, 2 yr german shepherd
| ||||
Buddy is a two year old German Shepherd who is struggling to become part of the family. Not because of behavioral issues, but because he is an enthusiastic puppy with a LOT of energy, and his person is an elderly woman who is trying to do the right thing. Interestingly, her granddaughter applied for the fence after seeing our press coverage in Bend, and thus she immediately submitted an application for her grandmother and her dog, Buddy, who lives outside 24 hours a day, in a tiny kennel, and, until recently, only had a travel carrier for shelter. But thanks to FFF, Buddy has been neutered and will soon have a room to run with a fantastically spacious, flat, grassy yard. Until recently, the owner planned to put Buddy on a zip-line all hours of the day. However, she recently learned about the new law, and that’s where we come in. Rob Rupp is the crew leader, and we cannot wait to share this special day with you and a dog who is full of energy, but still a bit shy because of his years in isolation, with little opportunity for socialization.
