Someone will get his lucky day on October 27th!

This is Lucifer and when he escapes from the rural property in which his family lives he gets into A LOT of mischief.

We met the animal services officer for Hood River at the recent Oregon Animal Control Council Conference – and sometimes you never know if these types of events can make a difference or impact. But for Lucifer thanks to the Hood River Animal Control Officer, I think it saved his little life and it will keep him with his family who loves him.

This was the message from Hood River Sheriff’s office:

Fences for Fido Warriors,

Recently I was dispatched to a call regarding a male black Malinois type dog trespassing on the property of others … Upon contact with the owner, it was clear that the dog wasn't running the streets due to neglectful ownership the dog just plan is an escape artist. The owner has attempted multiple options to keep dog contained unsuccessfully. They have reached their fund limits and are considering surrendering the dog. Surrender isn't an option here as the shelter is completely full. The owner … would greatly benefit from your agencies assistance in building a better fence.”

We’ll be connecting Lucifer’s fence to this family’s house to make this escape artist’s fence extra large & extra Lucifer proof!
