SNEAK PEEK of The Party of Five! Here is there story -- So very much is happening on this property, and it is truly amazing we never heard of this situation before today. But, thankfully, Oregon Humane Society shared with us their story, and of course we responded immediately! Astrod and Ottie, two HUGE pitties, live nearly 24 hours a day chained inside a small kennel, not even big enough for a dog house. Rex and Bella, two other pitties, are chained inside a larger fenced enclosure with too many holes and escape routes to run free. And, then there is Batman, who has his own separate fenced in enclosure but his area needs repaired as well. In short, we will be building a large fenced in enclosure for two of the dogs, putting up gates in the other two areas, and placing ground wire and wood chips throughout all three enclosures. BIG project. In short, this year, our “Party of Five” will receive their most treasured Christmas & New Year’s gift EVER: FREEDOM from the tiny kennels and chains that confine nearly all of them, all hours of the day and night. |
