Charlie: A Young Black Lab in the Wine Country in Need
| ||||
Charlie is the last chained pup that we *found* because of the recent publicity about FFF and the new law in the wine country of Oregon. Yamhill County has quickly become a community in need, in gratitude, and of volunteers. And, thankfully Charlie’s neighbors were concerned for his well-being, and thus after reading the recent article about FFF and the new life they decided to get involved. Charlie’s lucky to have a few guardian neighborhood angels! So, this is where FFF comes in -- Charlie is young (only 6 months old), and unfortunately we can already see in him the effects of life—living much too long—on the end of a chain. He isn’t a happy dog now, but we know, from doing this for quite a while now, Charlie is one of those dogs who we anticipate transforming before our very eyes. He’s young, but we have hope and sincerely believe that this 6 month black Labrador who knows life only on the end of a 8 foot chain, will soon be greeting neighbors with tail wags and joy rather than with barks and defensiveness. Join us – in the wine country—just 45 minutes from Portland.
