Lucas needs freedom from his chain!

Lucas MadrasWe are going to release Lucas from life on the end of a chain in Madras on Wednesday of next week. We will put up a portable fence, securing the fence with T-posts.  We will put down ground wire to ensure he cannot dig out under the fence.  We will also build an insulated dog house with a bed inside to help keep him warm during the cold winter months.

Can you spare a few hours of your time to help us with this project?

For post settings and fence builds, you will receive your "Thanks for Volunteering" email after you click to attend. This will have the email address for the coordinator for this event.

SPECIAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Starting March 11, for all Fences For Fido fence builds, masks will be optional in compliance with easing of restrictions of the mask mandate throughout Oregon and Washington.

Continued Safety Guidelines

  • If you have been in contact with any known COVID-19 patients, we ask that you complete the 14 day quarantine before joining a build.
  • If you feel sick or have any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you not attend a build. Please take your temperature before coming to a build to check for fever.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has background information about the virus, steps to prevent illness, and what to do when sick.
