Alexa and Chopper are confined in this kennel most hours of the day – and thankfully their situation was referred to Fences For Fido by concerned community members and in coordination with Sandy Police Department. When we approached the family—who are truly overwhelmed and so attached to both dogs—they were so grateful for our offer to help with a FREE fence, shade structures, dog houses, spay and neuter for her two adult dogs, and helping to rehome Miracle, their 6-month-old pup, thanks to our AMAZING partner, Oregon Dog Rescue! Please consider joining us on Friday, July 14th at 9:00 AM to build a fence for two pups – Alexa and Chopper – two pups who very much deserve their freedom and their own field of dreams in rural Sandy. | ||||

For post settings and fence builds, you will receive your "Thanks for Volunteering" email after you click to attend. This will have the email address for the coordinator for this event.
SPECIAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES
Starting March 11, for all Fences For Fido fence builds, masks will be optional in compliance with easing of restrictions of the mask mandate throughout Oregon and Washington.
Continued Safety Guidelines
- If you have been in contact with any known COVID-19 patients, we ask that you complete the 14 day quarantine before joining a build.
- If you feel sick or have any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you not attend a build. Please take your temperature before coming to a build to check for fever.
