Trixie's Fence & Her Superpowers! | ||||
| ||||
There are times when Fences For Fido stretches just a bit beyond our mission to help keep vulnerable families and pets together. A request for a fence from Clackamas County Health Services for a dog named Trixie with superpowers for her person. Trixie is a true lifesaver. Trixie is not only a family member, but she is also the grounding force for her person’s health, happiness, and healing after recent significant trauma and loss—combined with her own physical disabilities. And given her person’s living situation in rural Clackamas County, there have been a few times where Trixie has escaped chasing passing by animals and causing a lot of anxiety, worry and fear. While Trixie was found both times, it was extremely hard on her person. So much so, she continues to live in fear of Trixie escaping again and next time not being so fortunate. That’s where Fences For Fido comes in. Building love in the form of a secure fenced backyard: A sanctuary that keeps this twosome safely together as a family.
