Guero & Zeus in The Dalles

A loving guardian without means to spay/neuter her dogs found herself with a total of 4 adults and 7 puppies in the span of 2 years. The local vet office suggested she try to rehome a few, however, every rescue and shelter in her area is at capacity. Not wanting her dogs to end up mistreated or unsafe, she extended her reach until she found Fences For Fido. We have already helped with rehoming all the females and neutering the males. The puppies will be finding new homes in the next few weeks and we will build an enclosure for Guero & Zeus, the 2 males that will remain, so the household can find some relief in knowing all of the dogs are safe.    If you need a ride, we can meet in Portland at 8:00 am to carpool to The Dalles.

SPECIAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Starting March 11, for all Fences For Fido fence builds, masks will be optional in compliance with easing of restrictions of the mask mandate throughout Oregon and Washington.

Continued Safety Guidelines

• If you have been in contact with any known COVID-19 patients, we ask that you complete the 14 day quarantine before joining a build.
  
• If you feel sick or have any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you not attend a build. Please take your temperature before coming to a build to check for fever.
